It also works for think about something. If you are a car enthusiast and got the one you really loved,you and the car would be the best partner for ever.You will spend money and time for the car maintenance but who cares? Here in the subtropical island of Okinawa,the
flowers come out all the year over.But the
weather sometimes turn to the Typhoon,storm,and
ofen get a long spell of rainy weather. Then,how about making"Greenhouse"with the glass walls and roof?Sounds more easy to raise the plants and vegetables on a table instead of bend over the ground..But first,I should think carefully over if I am good at gardening as I'm dreaming?? |

of Sunshines,Warm and good weather,Blue oceans..However
the Winters in Okinawa is not so easy.Temperatures
are low at 10-15℃ and get windy or stormy
from the ocean.Too much rains,No sun shine..These
factors are sometimes depressing the visitors
from outside.These problems are constantly
disccussed at the prefectural side for a
long term.But I know many people from outside
who are so nicely planed their own travel.They
know what they want and have their own comfortable
place to stay,have the local people they
want to see..Plus they also meet the new
things they expect on every their trip. We should understand what the real adventurous things are.We should keep and well-maintain the Old towns instead of destroying them. |

In a sub-tropical island of Okinawa,Colorful
flowers never end even in a winter time. Cherry trees in the island blossoms earliest in Japan.Every January to Februaly,there held the Cherry blossom festival in the northern part of Okinawa. The cherry trees are also good for the personal garden trees or the road side trees. We also look forward the foods and tea flavored by Cherry petals like a Cherry-mochi,cherry cakes,cherry petal Japanese tea,etc. Let's enjoy the fresh flavor of the cherry blossoms,and make our day a little"fancy". Fireworks are the highlights of many Festivals. We who reside in Shuri,are expecting yearly event"Shuri-bunka-sai"(Name changed into"Ryuku-Ocho-Matsuri"recently)on November 3rd(Culture day=Japanese national holiday).Daytime iis nice to walk around on a street closed to car traffic and the Old Ryuku-Kingdom parade are so gorgeous to see. And in the evening,Fireworks shoot up at the Ryutan-pond area. This year,we Japanese strictly think about the victim people and the land of Tohoku-area hit by Tsunami..We deeply pray for all who still in afflictions. Beautiful Fireworks reminds us those things.I just believe the fireworks bring the people kind of.."Power of Consolation & Revival". |

The winds getting slightly cooler..the sunset
getting earlier..Here comes Fall. Although Inside the kitchen was Too hot and hard to work during the summer,now it getting fun to cook with no sweating. Before we start thinking menus,Let's change the clear-glass or white table wares into chic Potteries matching the Autumnal cuisines.Grilled fishes,mushrooms and nice vegetables like eggplants,pumpkins,etc.Boiled rice with chestnuts&Sake is so aurumn delicacy. The Yomitan or Tsuboya pottery places offering us nice potteries like dishes,bowls,cups and pot as well as the vases.Fun to shoose. Nice table ware would make the simple cooking so Delicious! |

However It is already Autumn season,it's
still like mid-summer weather here in Okinawa.In
this tropical island,Outdoor beer-bar or
the terrace restaurants are not popular because
of it's terrible humidity. Within a month,the wind may get cooler and less sweaty,then we could enjoy the time to have some good wine and light food in a garden or the terrace with no mosquitos! Life is short so it's good.Let's have a relaxing time in beautirul fall. |

Life time ago in my youth,I used to spent
sparkle night with friends every weekend
like other young agers.Used to be one of
Scene-person around the Dance club,karaoke
and many eating places.Wearing goegeous dresse
and high-heeled shoes are joy and never care
about outing dintance to get to Concert,any
kind of events. Now,I prefer to spend weekend at home.Seeing movies and reading books in our own cozy house is the BEST way for my weekends.Sometimes drive with my lovely car,and take a walk in my nice neighborhood. Age matures a good wine.Not so sparkle things happens but I like current version of Me. At present,I am very much concern about how we could keep our historic,charming town of Shuri.I remenber the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo,CA once I spent days for my group show.The people there looks very satisfied with their own town. We should make effort to keep up our good town! |

are on a brownout particularly in Tokyo area. We should self control everything but need a bit relaxation because it is Summer!!We could swim,dive,enjoy Fire-works and have beer.Then after charge our energy,then do the things for revival!! |

To the Camping-Lovers,tough season comes
at last!We usually imagine the Summer is
beautiful with sunshine,beach is very comfortable,but
once the weather change into Typhoon,things
get in Hell. Whole of our properties will be blown off,every fablics get soaked,we should spend time in a shaky situation. Even though,we could enjoy these terrible,dark side of the Camping as the expected matter. At least,don't forget to carring Rain-boots and Rain jacket!Plus,bring the books & magazines to enjoy"Wasting Time".Happy Camping! |

Throughout Japan,it is time to consider seriously
about conservation of electricity. As seen in this picture,panoramic ocean view over the thick glass window is just beautiful..We are in a air conditioned room with no sweat,cold drinks and ice are in a refrigerator.We could enjoy DVD and Music all the time.. Why don't we open a window once?Maybe,all the unconfortable things flow in a room at once.Humid air,mosquitos,molds,and one rainfall raise garden trees into Jungle!This is of tropical island. March in okinawa this year was very cold
unlike usual years.Now turn into April,here
comes the beach opening season little by
little. Beach is not only for swimming and diving.On the beach with beautiful sands,we could find hermid crabs,and collect the good shaped shells and beach glass. Around the north part of Okinawa,large marine turtles land through the warm ocean water for spawning on April to May.We people in Okinawa have a heavy responsibility to keep the those beach clean and natural for all creatures(include Human beings!). |

The early spring is beautiful season.We feel
like to renew everything in Spring.Seasonal
change of dresses,Changing form in a house
are felt not enough at our age. We've been live in a same house for over 17years.We've enjoyed raising cheldren and now they are leaving house one by one.Too much stuffs in a house..Isn't is about time to change all? Isn't it great if we could built the tiny,confortable cabin like "Cabanon Le corbusier" in Cap Martin,south france?Maybe someday. I know I should do now is,"Stop nagging & Cleaning the whole house!". |

Some of them should take Mega time for making the account statements,Tax Return,some of them should take heavy examinations at school,After those difficulties were over,most of all should have kind of MEETINGs toward the coming new term from the Spring.We find the theme,discuss,and make a decision,and trie to realize something.Ordinal conference is good,brain-storming is also good,lunch-meeting is sometimes good.However,as my impression and experience,Nothing would be realized when we decide something at the party or gathering in night time as my impression on experiences! | ||

Ipe-Trees are popular in Okinawa as winter to spring season's blossom trees.They are originally from Brazil and got beautiful bright yellow flowers.Their stems and branches show us very nice figure even when they have no flowers and leaves.As a matter of fact,I am now enjoying vewing Ipe-trees in our neighbor's garden.I am dreaming I could have my own Ipe-tree in my future garden. |
